- A topical antibiotic cream contains Mupirocin.
- It is used to:
- Secondary infected traumatic skin lesions.
- Treat infections on the skin in small cuts, wounds or on scraped skin.
- Kill bacteria causing infections on the skin called ‘Staphylococcus aureus’ and ‘Streptococcus pyogenes.
- Wide spectrum against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
