institution in the following areas:
- Screening of potential pharmacologically active drug from herbal extracts using in-vitro models.
- New crystals/crystal forms of novel pharmaceutical compounds.
- Development of advanced generic pharmaceutical products:
- New drug combinations.

Currently the following projects are running:
- Screening and evaluation of potential extracts for potential weight control constituent using enzymatic model.
- Development and evaluation of a new combination thereby for hypertensive and diabetic patient based on pharmacoeconomical studies.
- Management of olive oil mill waste water (OMW) for recovery of natural anti-oxidants in a commercial scale.
